Love the shorts. Awesome for running. They're really light weight, and definitely seem to help with the sweat-factor. Great for relaxing around the house on warmer days, as they breath so well.
I ordered the black ones, and they came as I expected. I can see the seems where the line would go down the side, but the ones i got are black on black, so there is no visible line.
No problems whatsoever with the length, either. I'm a 35" waste, and got Larges though, so it may just be because I'm on the small-end of "Large".
Bought a second pair I liked them so much.

I've always avoided men's shorts/pants. The hip thing, you understand. But these days it seems that all the women's shorts are Daisy Duke's, and I guess I'm too modest and considerate to wear short-shorts (I am over 50). Plus, what's the deal with pockets? When I go out to exercise (outdoors, where you will probably at least need to carry your keys), I need pockets. Forget about pockets on women's Bermuda-length shorts. Non-existent.
So, I've resorted to men's shorts. I'm long-legged, so these hang above my knees. They're loose enough to compromise between my lack of front "matter" and my generous back "matter". Loose and long. And they have pockets.
I only wish I could find these in red and girly colors like pink and teal. Oh well, just as well I play down my rear end with black and navy blue.
Women, consider these for overall exercise shorts.

I signed up for a fun run and realized that I had no running shorts with pockets to wear, so I browsed Amazon and decided to buy a pair of these shorts.
The pockets are surprisingly spacious and the shorts stayed dry and odorless like the description said they would. The shorts are very well made and feel like they will last a while. The design is also very nice and it can be used for more than just running. I use it for various athletic activities.
Just a little clarification though: I bought the Black/Shark color shorts through Amazon. The thumbnail for Black/Shark shows black shorts, while the image on the left and expanded image show grayish shorts. The shorts I got was black with a gray stripe on the outsides of the leg. The stripe isn't that thick, around 1/4 of a cm.

These shorts are pretty amazing. I do a decent load of outdoor running and sweat quite a bit, especially during the summer months. I bought these to replace my cotton shorts and the difference has been night and day. These are just so much more comfortable and sweat resistant (I still have yet to get them wet, which was a guarantee in my cotton shorts), plus they have pockets which is a nice bonus.

I have bought cheap gym shorts at wally world for more. The shorts from Wallmart strangle my thighs. That is not the case with these shorts. These shorts are very comfortable for the gym and for hot summer days. I had almost bought the same champion shorts at Kohl's for $20. I took a gamble with these on amazon, and I couldn't be happier. They are plenty long enough. The slate gray looks much more dark than in the picture, which I was happy about. You can order these and be confident that they will suit your needs and that you will get an excellent value. I recommend that you order plenty of them, as I think that they are a great deal. Usually this type of shorts go for a lot more. I ordered six pairs, and I am happy that I did.
